Pictures are very personal, and some people can be reluctant to share them. I am still trying....

First it might not be good according to yours standard, or you might not like it. Which make the sharing experience not a good one.

Second, I have more fun making picture then actually sharing them. Sorry.

After several courses at Ryerson Univesity (Toronto, ON). I have a better understanding of what I like when I make a picture. The picture I have in my head, I want my camera to take. Changing lens, settings, moving lights... Shooting again. keep trying... until you got all need to finally share it.

I must say that I am proud of my whisky bottle.

Many, many shots, several hours.... to finally get the picture from my head to a digital file.

On the contrary, sometime the work is easier... a simple flash and the subject get all the attention. The surrounding is gone:

I really had a good time taking those pictures and most of the other ones I won't talk about here.

Photography is not a hobby, it is an escape. I try to achieve something every time I go shooting. Thinking about time, space, lights... mixing them. I like the challenge of translating the picture in my head into the technical solution.
