I am what some would like to call a "baby" or "fresh meat" when it comes to the dog eat dog world of photography. I picked up a Nikon Digital SLR camera for the first time about two years ago in a elective photojournalism class and fell in love. I am currently finishing my last year at Penn State University as a communications major with emphasis in photojournalism and multimedia. I had my first internship with the Altoona Mirror over the summer and snatched a job at the Centre Daily Times as a Photographer/Photo-Technician about a month ago. It was a great ego trip at first, but I was immediately humbled when I saw the amazing work the other photographers meticulously produced.
I have grown so much as a photographer this past summer and am absorbing everything I'm learning at the paper like a sponge. I've learned so much from Mark Johnston, the intern, that my head is spinning!
I would really appreciate any critiques and advice you send my way.
