When I was fairly new on Flickr, the only one looking at my pictures was my daughter Lee. I kept posting pics, longing for some feedback but thinking, my pictures aren't good enuf. I kept looking at everybody else's picture and saw one I really liked, AND she had the same name(almost) and same last initial. So I wrote to her and the more I looked at her photos the more similarity I saw. I don't mean in the quality of the pictures, but we had many of the same types of flowers. So I wrote to ask where she lived and it turns out we used to live about 15 miles apart. She has taught me many things about Flickr, and she has invited me to more groups than I can attend to, and has therefore gotten me more comments than I would've gotten otherwise...and on it goes. I've met more people, and have become addicted to Flickr, and what can I say, my life B.D. ( before digital) has completely changed....thanks to my first Flickr buddy, and friend, Nanci D. She has the best titles on Flickr and an amazing secret garden where all sorts of things are going on, until she points her camera at it and lets us all look in at the secrets! Thanks Nanci for planting the seeds to my Flickr future and I would really love to have the real seeds for my garden. One day, I hope we will get to have a Flickr meet-up and a plant exchange.
