I've been making photographs for more than 30 years, ever since the day I first bought a camera for my college journalism program. When I've thought about it, I realized my motivation is to be in amazing places at special moments because those moments, to me, are connections with God and this planet is His cathedral.

I Switched to digital a few years ago and found it thoroughly rejuvenated my interest in the art.

I've photographed extensively through Ireland and the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia. I often use polarizers, graduated density filters and enhancing filters because even more important that showing you what I saw, I want you to experience what I felt. And if that means a bit of exageration (how do you spell that word?!), no problem.

Frank is definitely one of THE best contacts ever. The one who always comments on your work, even if it may not be the best! He's always so helpful and kind in his critique, and always has great suggestions! Very glad I have him as a contact, and how we are able to share some of our favorite locations in Alberta!

Frank is a very fine photographer - his work has a characteristic elegance that is rare these days - not flashy, not ever over the top - rather, introspective and feeling. I call it "seeing there" - his photos communicate the experience of being in that place and feeling - experiencing - the place - his ego disappears - leaving behind the essence. This is fine work! I should add that Frank doesn't leave his photos on flickr very long - to see the portfolio in more detail, check out his website.
