I've been taking photos since the age of ten, first using an old borrowed 35mm before moving on to my own manual Pentax 35mm film camera. Since then I've moved into digital, but still occasionally dabble with analogue.

In the past few years I've taken part-time courses at the local college, which has taught me about the art of photography, and perhaps more importantly, it has taught me how to see.

I enjoy an eclectic mix of photographic styles and techniques, and haven't settled on a particular style, but my preference is for the outdoor rather than the indoor or studio shoot.

If you want to take a look at my B&W work, have a look at my Flickr alter-ago WestStreetPhotography (aka ~Darkscapes~) - for a mixture of Landscapes and Street photographs.

And please, feel free to critique my work - good or bad, I won't be offended.

Cheers,

Ged.
