I like 35mm SLR's. Cameras of the mechancial variety I am into early to mid 1970's Manual models. Spotmatic 2, Pentax KM, Yashica TL Electro, Olympus OM1, Nikkormat FT2 and the shutter priority Canon EF. Additionally I like taking slides. I love their emulsion and their archival quality. Recently I purchased an Olympus E420 Digital SLR in order to resume attending Photography classes, that I had experienced learning in groups, usually attending weekend courses. I eventually became a minority Analogue user. I would like to do more Landscape, but find Garden Photography has so far been convenient and generally satisfying. I am interested in habitat photography, certainly rural and perhaps one day urban. (This has recently been approached by going to summer shows in Public Parks) .

Have not found any classes, but my compact Samsung PL50 has encouraged me to be more confident taking relaxed pictures, either in their own right or as back up , if for any reason my slides did not have the exact latitude etc. Although on saying that, Digital Zoom has certainly got its down side - pixel wise ! Taking slide photos and scanning a CD of them is not always cost effective. However I cannot shake off the feeling that I am being intrinsically creative with slides Flickr is such a wonderful social platform for exhibiting photos, more is better !

Still using Analogue Cameras. Just love the Olympus OM1 md. I have extended my Digital DSLRS with Olympus E520. Joined Meetup photography, class lessons in Digital, but Analogue Cameras openly encouraged. Best of both worlds.
