I’m a 53-year-old rancher and former PRCA touring all-around competitor. A native Montanan, I was reared on my parents’ cattle ranch in Custer County. I later worked on cattle ranches in Montana and Wyoming, and for 23 years ran my own operation in Harney County, Oregon, where we raised polled Herefords and harvested alfalfa, which we traded on the commodities market.
