Chicago born and raised. I grew up in Logan Square and now call West Town home. My camera’s usually aimed at everyday moments, the kind that tell a story even without words. Some shots are documentary, others are just for fun. Over the years, my work has appeared in online magazines , The Chicago Tribune, and has been published as part of a coffee table book. Over the years my photography has morphed into fashion and glamour photography, which allows me to work with other. This has been very rewarding for me since I like working with people to make art.
Photography is an ever-learning endeavor. It is a dance with the light and how it plays with the subject. I especially enjoy working with models, collaborating on ideas, and finding that perfect shot together. I offer my concepts, but I love when their input sparks something unexpected.
My style leans whimsical when I’m shooting street scenes, however there have been intense moments with protest shots. When it comes to fashion or portrait work, my goal is to bring the model’s personality into the frame.
Gear-wise, I shoot with Nikon — my mainstay is the D850, with a D610 as backup. My go-to lenses include the NIKKOR 20mm, 35mm, 50mm, 80mm, and a Tamron 24–70mm.
Enjoy the photos! And if you make one a Favorite, please leave a comment — I love hearing from you.
