Hi everyone,

My name is Ben Steventon, aged 34 and I am a very keen amateur photographer.

I live just inside North Wales, about 10 minutes from Chester and Mold with my girlfriend and step daughter, dog Milo and 2 cats Bruno and Holly. I work in Mold as a subsidy specialist, maximising the income the local Council receives from the DWP. I have many interests such as mountain biking, motorsport, car detailing, home and car audio/visual systems, walking, holidays, food and the outdoors.

Photography remains my primary hobby; more specifically, I love aviation photography due to being introduced to this by a good friend, Arommore Images. I have always loved planes as I grew up in Rhosneigr very near to RAF Valley. Back in the 80's Valley was brimming with international aircraft ranging from SR71's to F111's which unfortunately are long gone.

Despite some quite expensive Nikon gear, I am still to get the hang of photographing fast jets as I am primarily used to photographing very still subjects!

I am hoping to branch out in to the world of landscapes but I just don't seem to find the time to get up half way through the night to catch sunrise, or stay out long enough to watch the sun go down. Perhaps I should learn to get up early!
