2x2designs is a mother-daughter team, creating handwoven and handknit items for humans and their homes. All of our work is simple to wear, use, and care for, and will last a lifetime.

At her studio in Virginia, Andrea weaves textiles on an 8-harness Gilmore loom, as she has done for more than 30 years. Aiah knits from her home in New York, where a growing stash seems to expand to fill whatever space it finds.
