I've been taking photographs since the age of 8, when my parents gave me my first Kodak 126 Pocket Instamatic film camera. My interest began in earnest in my mid teens when I purchased my first 35 mm SLR Vivitar camera. Not to long after I started to develop my own film and making my own prints. I started with B&W and within a year I was doing color. I fine tuned my photography skills at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa during the early 80's.

I also learned a lot about the history of photography from Orange Coast College professor/photographer/author John Upton of whom studied with Ansel Adams, Imogen Cunningham, Minor White, Edward Weston and Beaumont Newhall.

I enjoy photography as a hobby. I just recently got back into photography. I have not done much of it during the last several years. I think that digital photography is awesome!!!

I have a whole collection of cameras from 110's through 4"x5" view cameras.

I just recently traded in my Canon Xti for a Canon XSi with the kit lens. I also use the following Canon EF 28-135 IS lens, Canon EF 50 mm 1.8 prime, Canon Speedlite ex430II strobe. I also use a Canon s50 and Samsung Nv10 point n shoot digital cameras

I am currently living in Las Vegas/ Henderson Nevada. I basically spent most of my life in Orange County California; I lived in Huntington Beach for 12 years and Lake Forest for 14 years. I relocated to Las Vegas Nevada in February 2005. I still go back to Orange County several times a year.
