I am always excited when 2 of 62 uploads new photos to Flickr. Her pictures are full of life and creativity whilst remaining completely natural. I love the glimpses of her life that she shares with us through her photos: cats, rats, family, friends, FOOD, nature - all those things that are so important and so interesting. She captures the everyday with wonderful light, composition and perspective but most of all with enthusiasm and warmth. Her photos are those that show up on my contacts page and that I have to look at even if I am running late. 2 is also a fabulous contact who takes the time to look at my pictures and notices little things that others might not! I'm so pleased to have met such a warm and talented person on Flickr!

Blame Canada! Vancouver Ways. 2 of 62. Kimberly is known to me as a relative of another Flickr mate but stands on her own in every way. I can only describe Kimberly as an elven person who does and does not entirely belong to our reality. She pops out from under a leaf to shoot fire jugglers and rock eaters, rats and flying cats, family and friends, and puts a very postiive light on her city in Canada. She is my goddess of the family album but her family is much broader than the small confines of genetic relations or adopted friends. Her spirit and photos embrace a whole planet and make it small enough to fit in an album that all of us will want to revisit over and over. The world is her family and a better sister the world never had. She cocks her head backwards and shoots between the legs, spins her camera like a drunken game and posts what comes out and what comes out is always a dizzying array of light, joy, serenity, and peace for which our world is starving. If you are down or sad or in a pity pot take a gander at her stream and it will lift you up, force you to laugh, and make you realize that life is not so serious after all and that we are all, every one of us, in it Together. We are not alone nor can we remain dismal for long with Kimberly directing our eyes outward and upward over and over and tickling us on the bottom of our feet or on the tips of our ears until we roar out loud, "Life is good where ever we are and who ever we are every day amen!"
