I am an artist, designer and teacher. I teach digital design and production all day and at night I bounce back and forth between my photography and, for the first time in many, many years, ceramics. What is interesting is that I initially studied photography at Ryerson 40 years ago before switching to U of T for fine art / general B.A. After 20 plus years in advertising and design in Toronto, and 10 years plus teaching, I am loving photography all over again.

I shoot to tell a story, make a statement or to explore a concept, like form, texture, colour or rhythm. Since I love abstract art I know that I will soon start exploring that avenue in my pictures, too.
