Because my life has always been influenced somehow by horse riding and art, i have finally found a way to make the two work together, blending them compositionally into visual stories dealing with the connection between art making practices and equestrian practices. I like to think of myself as an "artist-equestrian". Whether it be a simple stroke on canvas, or a brush on the animal's back, art and equestrian life are undoubtedly related. As an artist, I am experimenting with this unique idea of how horse and art are alike as far as the procedures they both entail, and how they have impacted my past, present and future. For example, drawing a beautiful masterpiece and jumping a set course of jumps. For both it is simple. You must mentally plan out what you are going to do, keep in mind any important techniques to help you make it better along the way, and lastly, you must do it. Resulting in something truly beautiful and inspiring for all to witness.
