I'm coming off a long hiatus due to equipment issues. Finally back with a more powerful editing platform and more powerful editing software. I can't say enough about Affinity Photo editor for windows. This is going to slay Photoshop. $40usd one time charge!

Now I have to learn how to use the full suite of tools I never experienced with PS Elements.

My "style" is nonexistent. I'm learning what is possible and so all over the place with both content and effects. I see things I like here on Flickr and try to achieve the same results. I also study the tutorials provided by Affinity Photo and others on Youtube.

Most of my images are captured with a Sony nex5 camera and 24mm equivalent wide angle lens. I shoot in Sony raw format. It's nice that it is supported in Affinity Photo. I just acquired an iPhone 7 and iPad 2017. Affinity has released its fully featured photo editor for iPad and I'm probably going to try it. Hard to refuse the $20 price tag.

It just keeps getting better and better as time goes on.
