Drag to set position!
I am a math undergrad student, majoring in Combinatorics and Optimization, at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
I live in New Brunswick, Canada on a small hobby farm. My most prize possession at home is my black standardbred mare: Lacey Jane.
My interest for photography started with Lacey. I had had Lacey's Dam, Velvet, for a short time and have little pictures of her. What I do have all look the same. Thus with Lacey I want to take a number of nice memories to remember her by. As I started taking photos I realized how fun it was and want to learn how to take better photos.
Today, I may have improved from the day I discovered my passion but I still have I lot to learn and a eye to develop. I hope to grow to a point where I can photograph events and sell them to the participants, such as at horse shows and races. I would also like to take pet portraits, both alone and with the owners.
My goals for photography is to take good enough pictures that I am able to document important moments in my life and those around me as well as earn enough money to fund my passion for photography and horses.
My tools of trade at the moment do to being a student are:
MacBook Pro
Photoshop CS4
Aperature
Nikon d90
Nikon 50mm F/1.8
Nikon VR 55-200mm F/4-5.6G
Nikon SB-600
