I've always had an interest in photography, but never dreamed I would love it so much! And would have never thought I could actually pursue it as a career! My husband had surprised me with photography classes for my birthday in 2008, and as luck would have it, found Indy Photo Coach. I've taken a few classes, and have been hooked ever since. Photography became a fun hobby on the weekends. And then I lost my job the day before Thanksgiving. I believe all things happen for a reason, and this was maybe a blessing in disguise. As they say, when one door closes...well, photography became my new window of opportunity! With photography, I feel creative, and it gives me so much satisfaction when a client is happy with their photos. I have purpose and meaning in my work, which is what I had been looking for in a career. I've only just begun my journey, and there is so much to learn! I'm indebted to my wonderful husband, Reggie, for inspiring me, encouraging me, and believing in me.
