It is just shy of a year that I have been on Flickr. It is quite addicting! The photographs that I have seen have been an eye opener! Sometimes, it is like taking a trip without leaving my house! Photos from all over the world have given me pause many times.

The past months have taught me new techniques to try. Have challenged me for specific things to photograph.

Flickr has also introduced me to some really nice, helpful, and very talented people. My contact list seems to be growing. I try everyday to check out my contacts photos and make a comment on them. To me, that is what a contact does.

I am very much an amateur photographer. Sometimes, I get the shot right, lots of times not. But, I love to document what I see.
