I have been an airliner spotter since 1969, as I grew up close to the old Fornebu airport and used my bike to see every new aircraft I could find at the airport since I was 10 years old.

I bought my first SLR camera ( a Ricoh KR-10 with a Tokina 70-210mm zoom lens ) in 1985 and shot negatives and slides until 2006 when I converted to Pentax DSLRs.
