The question I get most often is, how does one become a Master of Entomology?

Is that like being a guru? or a Jedi Master?

Well, yes and no. I didn’t have to spend years in a remote Tibetan cave eating pine needles, although I did travel to India and many of its shrines. And although I don’t have a light saber, I do have a cool flashlight.

I’ve spent nigh-on two decades working in urban pest management and entomology. In this time, I’ve managed to get degrees on both coasts of the US, and I wrote one of the first school IPM programs for California state school districts.

Perhaps you may recognize me from my appearances speaking across the US, or from my appearances as an expert on various Milwaukee-area news programs.

Or perhaps you may recognize me from one of my many publications.

Or perhaps this is your first opportunity to get to know me.

No matter how or if we may know each other, greetings.
