Took up photography in 2005, mainly to take better shots of my kids growing up. Have really got into it since, but it takes a back seat to my work and family. Still learning lots and would descibe myself as an enthusiastic amateur.

My main interestes in photograpgy are portraits and sport. I would like to get into other areas but feel I don't yet have the vision to see what others see. Whether this develops or not remains to be seen. But one things for sure, I cannot work Photoshop out (I really don't get layers, for instance, although I'm slowly getting my head round textures) so the work I produce out of the camera, will be what people see, for now at least.

As far as equipment goes, I'm a Nikon shooter and proud of it.
