Coastal Community Foundation connects Lowcountry individual, family, and business donors with the full spectrum of charitable and nonprofit organizations in the areas of art, education, environment, health, human needs, and neighborhood and community development. Our Foundation does not “run” programs; rather, through funds and endowments, we help donors support charities that do. A grantmaking fund can be created and customized to your charitable interests with a minimum of $10,000 while an endowment allows a fund to keep giving long after the donor is gone through investment and gained income. As a result of 34 years in the area, Coastal Community Foundation is unique in our deep knowledge of nonprofits and need in the Lowcountry, which allows us to give donors the best guidance on how to spend their generous contributions.

We connect donors with the full spectrum of charitable nonprofit organizations across eight coastal counties of South Carolina: Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Georgetown, Hampton, and Jasper.
