My most privileged photography achievement is being shortlisted for the huge international competition "Photography of the year 2009" by Digital Camera Magazine in category "World in motion", where this photo is competing with other 23. This is also my most popular photo on flickr.

My other modest photographic successes include exhibition by Landvernd, Icelandic Enviroumental Association, where 2 of my photos were chosen in top 24 out of 170.

The title of the competiton was "A Moment in a Volcanic Garden" (Augnablik í eldfjallagarði"). All the 24 phographs were shown in "Miðstöð símenntunar", in Reykjanesbær, Iceland.
