Sara-D (Sranga Deva de Alwis) is a talented photographer, always in love with nature. I had the privilege to meet him personally and also to see him in action at a wild-life sanctuary. I found him always to be in complete harmony with nature, moving around with his camera in perfect silence. Another speciality I noticed in him was his great skill in handling long zoom shots by depending solely on his strong hands to hold the camera. Saranga has a broad and deep understanding of the Sri Lankan fauna and flora and his vivid wild life shots are ample proof of his talents in photography. He is a real patriot who strives to demonstrate the pristine natural beauty of mother Lanka to the outside world. I believe that Saranga is a model nature photographer who could be emulated by all who wish to step into the field of nature photography in Sri Lanka. I admire him very much.
