I've always been interested in the beauty that a picture can capture. I grew up in a family where art and design were very important, and I'm now trying to capture a small piece of the world.

I'm a cheap person, but I finally broke down and bought a digital SLR camera. I use an Olympus E-510 - Besides the sluggish auto-focus, it's been a wonderful camera.

I've been using Photoshop for over 12 years - ever since 4.0 ;-) For my day job, i work for ACS (www.acs-inc.com) as a systems engineer of sorts, and I have a b.s. in Computer Science, which forces me to take an engineering approach to everything.
