Now preparing an exhibition "Os dois olhos do ciclope" - The Ciclople's two eyes" to be held at Almada Art Gallery from the 9th June until 30th July. It will have two stories and three parts.: One with transfers, other with black and white and another with lumen prints or digital prints made from lumen. The two stories are the Long Summer, wich is about chilldhood memories and Sea, a story about the sea and the people working there. There will also be a movie.

Always searching for something new, sometimes in the mix between tradition and modern techniques. I started working as a photojournalist for small leftwing newspapers but during the 1980’s evolved to studio advertising photography and to fine arts.

From the early 1990’s my best know work is made on Polaroid material using the small size and unrealistic colors to create an image of memory and nostalgia. Some critics say these images are somehow related to my research in 19th and early 20th century photography.
