I like to have fun and laugh at life. However, I'm also a consummate, hard-working professional when I need to be. I have been emplyed as a biologist with the same employer for 26 years and am also a homeowner. I consider myself to be intelligent, creative, independent, loyal, and quiet natured. When the time is right, I can also be a bit "wild n' crazy." I have variously been described as "wickedly funny, wickedly nice, and enchanting" over the years. Don't let the long hair fool you; I don't smoke, don't use drugs, and rarely drink alcohol. I'm actively involved in conservation issues, and take trips for the purpose of researching and photographing our less charismatic wildlife - especially reptiles and amphibians in case it isn't obvious:).
