Slappy, aka Dom is a true Hanna-Barbera fan. He is passionate about the characters created by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera, and can even become defensive when an artist or production company abuses the original concept of the characters. Dom feels a connection to the Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera and his life has been much effected by the years ot H-B toons that he has enjoyed. In addition to collecting and sharing his H-B trove with flickr, Dom also creates original art based on the Hanna-Barbera characters, but adds his own personal style to the art work. His use of texture in many pieces make the characters come to life and jump off the page. I look forward to each Slappy posting and I also enjoy my friendship with him. Long live Slappy-Dappy-Doo!
