I am a fine art and documentary photographer and former Professor of English. I studied photography at the University of Iowa School of Art and the Santa Fe Photography Workshops.

My photographs have won awards in regional and national contests, have appeared in group, individual, and juried exhibitions, and have been published internationally in such magazines as National Geographic Traveler, PhotoLife (Canada), MaVista (UK), The Photo Review, Photographic, Shutterbug, Outdoor Photographer, The Best of Photography Annual, f-stop, Life in the Finger Lakes, Martha’s Vineyard Magazine, and Popular Photography.
