Thank you for visiting my photography page. Since I was a kid I have always been fascinated by the natural world and God’s magnificent creations. There is something to be said about spending time outdoors that can inspire us, heal us, and bring us together like nothing else can, and this is one of the many reasons I love to shoot photos in the outdoors.

One thing I love about photography that I think is truly amazing is the ability to be able to capture an exact moment in time that we will never get to see or experience ever again, but through photography we can push pause on time and capture that moment so that we can have it to relive and experience over and over again for forever. From the most amazing sunset, to the coolest encounter ever with wildlife, to unforgettable moments in the mountains or desert with friends, we can have these moments in time to be with us forever through a simple photograph. There is something to be said about pushing pause on time through photography that I feel is very necessary in life as well, because in a world that continues to move at a faster and faster pace we need to take time every once and a while to slow down for moment to enjoy the world around us. When we fly through life there is much we often miss, but when time can stand still in a photograph, and we take time to truly take in that captured moment, there are little things that we may have otherwise missed that we can now see and can learn to gain a new appreciation for.

Sometimes when I am out exploring alone and I come across a scene, I think about how I am the only person in the entire world who gets to experience that scene in that exact moment in time, and even when I am with people there are certain views and perspectives I may see through my eyes that no one else there will ever see, and so to be able to capture those moments from my point of view in a very unique photograph that I can then share with the rest of the world is something I also really love about photography. The world was created for all of us to share and enjoy together, so to be ale to share it with others through my photographs is a true pleasure. This experience of discovering new scenes to share is what keeps me going because no day will ever be exactly like another, meaning that even adventures to photograph the same places I have visited before will always bring a new perspective or take on that place. There is so much to see and explore that I hope I can continue to do so throughout the rest of my life.

For those who have visited the places or experienced the things I have photographed, I hope that my pictures can help you to continue to relive and remember what it felt like to experience that place when you visited there. For others who have never visited the places I have photographed, or been able to experience the outdoors like I have, I hope my photos can inspire you to get outside and have the same kinds of experiences for yourself.
