I'm from Rossendale but now live in Cheshire, UK.

I have a Canon EOS 450D (cw standard 18-55mm lens). I've recently got a macro lens (Sigma 105mm, f 2.8) and am experimenting with it, although with little success so far.

I've an old Pentax (P30N, with 28-80mm lens & Sigma 75-300mm lens), but haven't used it in years.

I'm enjoying browsing Flickr, with all the differing styles and subjects.

We got Woody, a Border Collie pup in February 2009 and he is featuring a lot in my photos. He gambols about erratically and is slightly camera-shy so it is tricky to do him justice.
