The 28th Public Affairs Detachment is a U.S. Army organization of broadcast and print journalists dedicated to spreading accurate and timely information to a wide audience.

It supports the U.S. Army Public Affairs mission to keep the American people and the Army informed and to help establish the conditions that lead to confidence in America's Army and its readiness to conduct operations around the world.

Soldiers of the 28th Public Affairs Detachment are currently serving in Kuwait in support of Third Army/U.S. Army Central.
