I'm somewhat new at photography, and am having a blast! A couple of years ago my brother gave me a beautiful Fuji S5000 and he also introduced me to Flickr. Now I think I'm hooked!! What a fun place to play and learn and meet new friends.

I live in far Northern California, USA, right near the foot of majestic Mount Shasta. Lots of wonderful photo opportunities up here, so I really want to learn to take better pics and am finding that Flickr is a great place to begin!
