Beauty expert and liscensed lashtician, Christine Reed, is a true artist in every sense of the word. Known for her impeccable attention to detail, Reed leaves all her clients looking and feeling red carpet ready. With an impressive list of celebrity clients under her belt, including Angela Bassett, Joss Stone, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Vienna Girardi and Leven Rambin, Reed has established a cult following of celebrity fashionistas in the know.

Ambitiously driven, Reed got her start running a beauty concierge business for over 6 years, bringing her beauty services to high-end hotels throughout the Los Angeles area. In order to meet the needs of her growing clientele, Platinum Image Spa was established in 2009. Now rebranded as the Christine Reed Lash Salon, the salon caters to women who are short on time, but still want quality services. Reed’s mission is to make every guest look and feel red carpet ready with the best products and services on hand.

A Colorado Springs native, Reed relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a make-up artist. After noticing the lack of make-up artists who knew how to apply lash extensions, Reed wanted to learn more in order to distinguish herself from her peers. Reed moved on to receive her certification at the NovaLash Academy. She has received training certifications from several highly respected programs including JB Lashes. Her extensive training, meticulous work, and team of highly trained estheticians, cosmetologists, and plastic surgeons have secured Christine Reed Lash Salon and Spa's spot as one of the most sought-after spas in Los Angeles.

Reed's eyelash extensions have been a favorite among celebrities at exclusive gifting suites for major award shows including the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, MTV Movie Awards, and Sundance Film Festival. Most recently, Reed provided her services to ABC’s The Bachelor Reunion, giving lash extensions to the female contestants and various spa treatments to all the cast members.

Always active in her local community, Reed regularly opens her doors to Cancer patients who are going through chemotherapy, offering her time to help patients restore their confidence and feel better about how they look during treatment. In addition to philanthropy and managing her spa, Reed teaches aspiring estheticians the ins and outs of lash extensions, offering one-on-one lash extension training for those who want hands-on experience.

In addition to being a lashtician for over 7 years, Reed’s latest endeavor is her own line of aloe vera-based, organic tanning products called Platinum Premium Tan. Between meeting the demands of her clients and offering her services to photo shoots, Reed is currently working on expanding her brand, introducing additional organic products to her skincare line.
