The Glamorgan-Gwent Archaeological Trust's aim is to help people of all ages understand and appreciate the rich heritage of Southeast Wales and to care for it so that it is preserved for the future.

Our main objective is to advance the education of the public in archaeology. This mission statement is contained in the Trust's founding documents and is the guiding principle of all our work.
