I am addicted to photography. Its a sick habit i picked up a couple months ago, after a long hiatus. In high school i was always involved in Art and got my first exposure (mind the pun) to Photography. Back then, it was manual Nikon and dark room. We even wound the film neg into the cartrige that went in the camera.
In college, I majored in Visual Communications.
I have been a Graphic designer until Feb2008 when i came to my current company. They call me a Marketing Communications Specialist. This is how i came back to Photography: they request that I do some informal photography of the products, exec's pics, events, etc, and this prompted me to buy my own dSLR. Ive been mad about it ever since and i try to spend some time every weekend to getting some great shots. I feel so behind, as I should have been pursuing this (i use Pictures all the time in my page layouts and design, why not take my own images?
My grandfather was a professional photographer and I am absolutely honored that I could even aspire to take this to the next level. for now, I integrate photography into my workflow, but eventually i want it to be the primary source.
