Paparazzo is a term used to refer to a photojournalist specializing in candid shots of famous people. The name came into usage after the release of the classic Fellini film “La dolce vita”, which had an annoying news photographer with that name as a character. Merriam Webster defines paparazzo as “a freelance photographer who aggressively pursues celebrities for the purpose of taking candid photographs”. A look at tree-razzo’s Flickr photostream reveals that I aggressively (sometimes annoyingly) pursue famous or unusual trees to expose their beauty and grandeur to the world.
