Short, fat & bald
I'm really happy to have hit 20,000 total visits on 22nd April 2010 - less than two years after I joined Flickr. The breakdown is: Photos 16,300 (81.5%), Photostream 3,100 (15.5%), Sets 600 (3%).
Absolutely delighted to have now reached 30,000 total visits on 1st August 2010 - just over two years after joining. I'm amazed to have added 10,000 in only 3 and a bit months - averaging 100 visits per day! The breakdown at 30k is Photos 24,676 (82.2%), Photostream 4,411 (14.7%), Sets 910 (3%) and Collection 5.
Delighted to hit 40k total visits on 29th September 2010. This 10k came in 60 days at an average of 166 per day, which I think was due to some special summer circumstances and thus not repeatable, but we'll see! I'm going to keep recording these stats to track progress:
Photos 33,439 (83.6%), Photostream 5,471 (13.7%), Sets 1,087 (3%), Collections 10.
50,000 total visits came up on 10th January 2011 - a bit of a slowdown, but I've not been posting so much stuff, so that's understandable. Photos 42,300 (84.6%), Photostream 6,400 (12.8%), Sets 1,250 (2.5%), Collections 15.
60,000 total visits came on 27th April when I was on holiday so I missed it. Over 3 months for this 10k, but hardly posted anything, so understandable. The holiday snaps might quicken things up a bit now. Photos 51,820 (85.9%), Photostream 7,120 (11.8%), Sets 1,403 (2.3%), Collections 18 - so the balance is moving towards individual photos and mainly away from the Photostream.
70,000 total visits reached on 22nd July 2011. Just under 3 months for this 10k, partly due to minimal amounts of posting until the end when I had the RIAT 2011 shots that gave me a significant boost. Photos 60,541 (86.5%), Photostream 7,901 (11.3%), Sets 1,541 (2.2%) and Collections 18. The balance moves further towards individual photos with Photostream and Sets losing out pretty much proportionally.
80,000 visits hit on 14th October, again just under 3 months for 10k. Photos 69369 (86.7%), Photostream 8777 (11%), Sets 1845 (2.3%)and Collections 18. Again individual photos lead the way with Photostream being aroud 245 visits lower than last time's percentage would have indicated, although the increase in percentage being photos has only crept ahead compared with previous increases, so maybe this is becoming the "natural" split after me having a high proportion of photostream visits early in my Flickr "career" for some reason.
90,000 visits on 7th January 2012! This is just under 3 months or 10k again despite few uploads, so I'm pretty happy with that. Photos 78,514 (87.2%), Photostream 9,377 (10.4%), Sets 2,090 (2.3%, Collections 22. Photos again increasing their propostion of visits at the expense of Photostreams.
100,000 visits achieved on 29th March indicating a slight acceleration - by a couple of days (but I do have February in here!). Photos: 87,735 photos (87.7%), Photostream: 9,924 (9.9%), Sets: 2,318 (2.4%), Collections: 23. Individual photos continue to draw ahead in percentage terms.
110,000 visits achieved on 15th June 2012 - again under 3 months for the 10k. Photos: 96,936 (88.1%), Photostream 10,578 (9.6%), Sets: 2,461 (2.2%), Collection: 25.
120,000 visits achieved on 19th August - only just over 2 months after the last 10k and with relatively few pictures posted. Photos: 106,248 (88.5%), Photostream: 11,160 (9.3%), Sets: 2,561 (2.1%), Collection: 32.
130,000 visits achieved on 6th November 2012 - back to nearly 3 months but again few pictures poisted. Photos: 115,767 (89%), Photostreams: 11,593 (8.9%), Sets: 2,683 (2.1%), Collections: 32
140,000 visits achieved 19 January 2013 - 2 1/2 months but I've barely posted in that time, if at all. Photos: 125,367 (89.5%), Photostreams 11,818 (8.4%), Sets: 2,800 (2%), Collections:32.
150,000 visits achieved 3 April 2013 - 2 1/2 months again. Photos: 134,902 (89.9%), Photostreams 12,196 (8.12%), Sets 2,898 (1.9%), Collections 33.
160,000 visits achieved 12 July 2013 - another 2 1/2 months. Photos: 144,300, Photostreams: 13,050, Sets: 3,010, Collections 36.
170,000 views achieved on 7 August 2013, record time and I don't really understand it - I had over 1,000 views on one day this month which I've never even been close to before. Photos: 153,687, Photostreams: 13,229, Sets: 3,048, Collections: 36.
180,000 views achieved, but no idea when. I went on vacation and came back to 186k. However I can't square the daily totals (even the 0 day, which seems a bit weird) to this figure. I only get to just over 11,000 rather than 16,000 added since 7 August. This sudden increase in the rate of views is all very strange as well. I used to add 10k in about 3 months, it's now closer to 3 weeks and I can't see that I've done much to change things. Maybe the new design is having an impact...
190,000 views achieved 6 September 2013. Photos 173k, Photostream 13,300, Sets 3k, collections 37. This means I've added 20,000 in 2 months!
200,000 on 24 September 2013 - 10,000 in 18 days. There's something funny going on around here...
210,000 on 10th October 2013 - another acceleration as that's just 16 days for 10k and thus a rate of nearly 20k per month.
220,000 on 23rd October 2013 - now it's 13 days, although I did have 2,605 views on one day!!! My only conclusion is that photostream images are now being counted as "proper" views.
230,000 on 5th November 2013 - 13 days again. No mega days this time to boost, just what are now becoming normal daily numbers - in fact it seemed to slow down towards the end.
240,000 on 18 November 2013 - 13 days once again.
250,000 on 7th December 2013 - a bit of a slow-down...
260,000 on 23rd December 2013, making it 16 days, so accelerating again although not back "up to speed".
270,000 8th January 2014, another 16 day 10k, so rate maintained.
280,000 24th January 2014, 16 days again.
290,000 11th February 2014. 18 days this time, but I have one of those "zero days" in there so maybe it should have been 17 - and it only just missed being a day earlier.
300,000 27th February 2014. Back to 16 days.
310,000 16th March 2014 - 17 days this time.
320,00 on 2nd April 2014 - 17 days again.
330,000 on 27th April 2014 - 25 days this time, with a big drop in numbers for a while, followed by a 2k+ day - the stats seem to be all over the place.
340,000 on 26th May - 29 days this time with one massive day of nearly 2,000 being needed to make it within the month. Nothing posted though, so that will have suppressed numbers.
350,000 on 17th June 2014 - 22 days, so the period has shortened significantly again although not back to the "norm" it once was.
360,000 on 10 July 2014 - 23 days, so much as the last 10k. I guess if I post a few after RIAT at Fairford this weekend that will maybe shorten.
I seem to have missed a couple of updates but today, 4 September 2014, hit 390,000. That's 30k in 56 days or something like a rate of 10k per 18 days - so roughly back to the average.
Yay! 400k hits on 20th September 2014. This 10k has come n 16 days, so about the long run average. At this limestone it's 382.5k Photos; 14k Photostream; 3.2k Albums and a measely 38 Collection with 0 galleries.
410k on 7th October 2014, making it 17 days or about average.
420k on 27th October 2014, making it 20 days.
430k on 2nd November 2014, only 6 days, but I posted a bunch of reference stuff for modellers that's been drawing some attention, plus there's the upcoming Armistice day (11/11) that keeps my memorial pictures ticking over.
440k on 19th November 2014, so 17 days for this 10k making it about normal, maybe a little slow.
450k on 6 December 2014, making it a 17 day run to 10k again.
460k on 26 December taking it back to 20 days for 10k.
470k on 13 January 2015, so a "standard" 17 days for 10k.
480k on 2nd February 2015, nearly made it on the 1st! The 2nd makes it 20 days though for this 10k.
490k on 21 February 2015, making it 19 days for this 10k.

allan has some great photos - i love his puffin shots. they are all unaltered and natural, no large amounts of photoshop and saturation being added here! more than that, allan makes a good flickr friend because he is insightful and helpful in giving advise/feedback to others. -jessica-
