I don't actually see beauty for the most part. I call it aesthetically blind -- like being tone deaf, but in sight. (Okay, so maybe tone deaf is more like color blindness, but let me try to explain.)

I don't see beauty in people. They're all pretty much the same to me beauty-wise. Physically different, but none especially beautiful, handsome, ugly or otherwise. They're neutral to me. Likewise with other things. I can accept that some people think architecture is beautiful, but I am pretty far from understanding it.

So how do I end up taking pictures?

My pictures mostly come about because I like to play -- particularly with light, perspective and water.
