I am a 20 year old college sophomore from long island, new york who plans on becoming a teacher before moving on to more involved professions in the field of education. =D So obviously, I love kids. Right now, I am a part of the Geek Squad at Best Buy which is where my geekiness really flourishes. It also means I kind of like computers.

I love love love to take pictures and I have since I was about 10, However, I'm not any sort of professional. Even my camera is mediocre. (but I love it!) I first became fascinated with editing pics in 9th grade, but sadly did not discover picnik.com until my freshman year of college! Hopefully, I will move on to taking pictures with more meaningful poses. As for right now, I usually forget and settle for taking ordinary pics when out with friends. I'd also like to expand the subjects of my shots into areas like landscape and children.

I am also what is known as a "Cafeteria Catholic." Instead of the stereotypical, pious, dry, condescending Catholic, I love Jesus and His message as well as partying and drinking (even if it's "underage"). Just nothing in excess! =D I believe there's a Heaven after all this and that everyone'll get a chance to go there if that's what they want. God is good! And like a proper Catholic, I go to Church every Sunday, but never look down on other people even when they sin because I probably do worse things than they do. And finally, the proper Catholic is supposed to be a conservative Republican, but is it a crime if I sway democratic?!

Lastly, I'm an intense romantic which brings swaying moods, strong emotions, an aesthetic eye, and a strong tendency to empathize. And I cry at movies. "The curse of the romantic is a greed for dreams and an intensity of expectation that, in the end, diminishes the reality."
