For the most part I use all my spare time making or taking pictures or some related activity. The need to do this has rarely left me. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad. I'm looking for a way to use it for good. I spend a large part of my time for work each day to pay bills but wish somehow I could combine these two elements of my life into one meaningful activity. I travel these two parallel roads hoping to find the place where they merge.

I can't say what subject matter I find most interesting but lately I've been captured by the beauty of a well done portrait. The light, the shadows, muted colors, sharpness and blur, detail and vagueness, expressions, mood and emotion and the soul.
