I'm an independent buyer and seller of machinery and equipment for the sand & gravel, crushed stone, frac sand, and bulk solids handling market. I buy and sell things I know about and understand, most of which are decidedly low tech but also, for me, a lot of fun. I meet the best sort of people from all over the world in this business. I love that fact and I am encouraged by it with every new prospect.

I have to take pictures for my job and I try to take a lot of pictures so that my prospective customers from all over the world can really see "the good, the bad and the ugly" of the machine they may be about to travel to look at or even buy based on those pictures.

I want to become a better photographer and hopefully that will happen over time as I learn from the many amazing artists on Flickr. My next move is to acquire a full frame, mirrorless camera and the "holy trinity" of lenses on my way to improving my work.
