I've had a camera in some form since my first Kodak Instamatic (126) when I was 12. Since then, I've had a Yashica SLR, a Canon Sureshot, a Kodak Easyshare, Kodak P712, Canon SD1000, SD1200, Canon G11, Canon Xsi and now a Canon 5D Mark III full frame camera. A few years ago, a photography instructor let me look at his new Fujifilm X-T 1 mirrorless camera & it was love at first sight. I have really enjoyed the freedom the little fella gives with its physical dials and excellent lenses - it makes photography fun again. I now rely on an iPhone 12 camera for those "aliens landing" shots that I might miss if I didn't carry a camera with me - the quality of the phones has surpassed my first few digital cameras and I wonder what is next for them. I'm still learning and I have a lot more to learn. As time goes by, I enjoy the post-process almost as much as the actual shooting.
