Well. Not much to say. I'm and Engineer working as an expat in China. I left most of my hobbies back in the United States when I brought my wife and son here. We had limited things to do, as speaking the language proved a little difficult at first. So, we all picked up photography as a family and haven't looked back since. My kid has a Nikon L15 that he carries around with him everywhere (he's 5), and I pack a Nikon D300, while my wife packs a Nikon D80. Hence the reason for the name "Nikon Junkie"... I should have bought stock in Nikon before I started all of this. :)

So here we are in China, taking pictures like a bunch of lost tourists. It definitely gets us the "stares" as we walk past everyone... But it's brought the family closer together, so it's defintiely worth that and dealing with the "What is that foreigner taking a picture of now" comments. :)

Flickr has just added to my obsesion with a sport/hobby that I have no idea why I didn't try to pick up earlier. I have never seen so much creative ability in one area. It's amazing and humbling at the same time. I've got a lot to learn, and this is definitely the place to do it.

Well... back to the grindstone... Thanks to everyone that has added to this experience for me. It's really great getting to know all of you.

On a side note... I reserve all copyrights for my photos for myself. Please do not use my photogrpahs for any purpose without my direct written consent.
