"Good photographs are not taken by a good camera but by a good photographer"

With thanks to all of you who have taken the time to comment on my photographs.

Searching out good humour along this photographic journey is one of my keys to the enjoyment, meeting new people and experiencing sights I have never seen before.

I hope you enjoy my collection. Best Regards.

Jeff

Being fundamentally averse to the politically-correct practice of mutual backslapping encouraged by Flickr, I rarely, if ever, write testimonials. In Jeff’s case, however, I’m prepared to make an exception. I’ve only known Jeff for a comparatively short time but have come to recognise him as a man of exceptional talent and creativity who consistently produces images at which mere mortals such as myself can only stare in abject amazement and no little envy. More importantly, he is one of that rare breed of Flickrite who takes the trouble to comment meaningfully on shots rather than limiting himself to the regrettably-common Flickr practice of meaningless superlatives. In recent weeks, he has been the motivating force behind the development of the Truth Gallery, a group which, in time, will undoubtedly take its place as one of the best that Flickr has to offer. I am honoured to have played a small part in the development of that group, and even more honoured, in the course of such, to have met a genuine friend.

It is a wonder to look into someone's own inside stories, and it is a honor if someone lets you in. It is a rare value if the stories are worth time and patience, and it is on you how you admire it. From my side there isn't much to say. I spent a lot of time here, I learned, dreamt and flew high, I recognised the man and it seems he knows me deep as well. That's what I saw in his pictures. That's what I saw in his toughts. We share common worlds. And the toughts for making pictures I presume. And I have not enough english words to describe, how good it means to me. Only one then: thank you for sharing it.

This is a very pleasing site to peruse, with impressive, vivid B&W.........and color to die for. Each image is a finished work of art displaying a great photographic eye and outstanding post-processing technique. I'm glad to have been chosen as a Contact.

I have been following Jeff's work on Flickr for a couple of months, and he is an amazing artist! He produces a wide range of different types of photos, but the sea themed scenics are particularly my favorite ones. He's HDR techique is spot on, and he often delivers beautiful B&W images that are like from another world.… Read more
