Hi there,
I started some 17 years ago to reference and put online all known late war Bf 109 pictures which Werk Nummer are known; I took great care to give the reference when known.
They are all sorted out by unit, location and subtypes to the best of my knowledge. The result is not really impressive yet: less then 600 W.Nr. known machines are illustrated out of the 10'000+ built. This leaves plenty of room for improvement, isn' it? All inputs are most welcome.
This page is an absolutely NON COMMERCIAL and fair use page. If you do feel a copyright has been infringed, please let me know and I will remove the pics from public view.
This account is non-political: its aim is is to offer a platform to researchers, scholars, authors and hobbyists with a specialised interest in the aircraft and operations of the German Airforce (Luftwaffe) from the 1930s to the end of World War II. I strongly condemn the views and opinions of the Nazi regime and the horrific atrocities they committed throughout history. I also strongly oppose the admiration and or promotion of the views and opinions held by the Nazi regime. Depictions of the Swastika and other symbols/images related to the Nazi regime will be visible in the period photography and images viewable on this account. This is purely for the purposes of research and historical accuracy. No political or racist view is implied.
