I was born & brought up in Kingston & worked for the Corporation of the City of Kingston, for 19 years before retirement.

I worked in the automotive industry in the area for most of my working days.

I was an Independent Insurance Appraiser for 18 years, working closely with Adjusters, Insurance Agents, Police & Court Services etc.

I specialized in fraud, fatalities & an assortment of difficult files that were to go to court or discovery.

While working as an appraiser I was required to take many photos; unfortunately these were strictly for evidence & I did not attempt to be creative or care about composition.

After removing myself from the high demands of the appraiser service, life began to slow down for me.

I took up photography as a hobby, mostly to catch up with days lost with family & friends.

At one time I got discouraged with the pictures I took & ventured away from the camera.

Just prior to digital cameras becoming the norm, I discovered that going out with my boys (& my wife when she could go) photographing allowed me to relax & enjoy time spent with family.

I am now recently retired & will take every opportunity to go out and just snap shots.

I hope you will enjoy at least some of my photographs, as I have enjoyed the time to take them.
