My photography focuses mainly on landscape imagery. I especially have a passion for the Scottish Highlands, which has some of the most beautiful countryside in the world.

Throughout the year, and in all weathers, I try to capture the mood and beauty of the scene. However, the weather is very unpredictable, and changeable. You can often have a snow storm in one glen, and another glen would be sunny and calm! This brings along certain challenges, in not only taking pictures in the harsh conditions, but also in some instances getting back safely!

On many occassions I camp high on the mountains to ensure I'm at the right spot at the right time in any weather. My recent trip it was -15C at 900m on a Scottish ridge! It does have its challenges keeping the camera going at that temperature (and yourself ! :-))

Living in Southern England (Leighton Buzzard), I also spend a lot of time taking pictures of English countryside, and sunsets. Although, generally not as dramatic as the mountainous regions of Scotland, it still has a beauty about it.
