My name is Heather, and I shoot people. In fact, I don’t just shoot people, I shoot pretty much everything I see. But I’m a pacifist, I swear.

I graduated with a degree in photography from Middle Tennessee State University. I started college as a vocal performance major with dreams of being a famous opera singer. However, I soon discovered that saying you want to be a famous opera singer is like saying you want to be a dinosaur when you grow up. The switch to photography was the best decision I ever made, and I never felt more at home than when I first picked up my camera.

From there things really got rolling, and now I find myself on a mission. A mission to change society’s perceptions about photography, grow exponentially in my art, and to bring others along for the ride. I just want to share my passion with the world and create tangible and astounding proof of our greatest memories. I want to save the world from the predictable, and I need all of you to help me do it.
