Hi, this is Doris.

The name on my profile, 'seileastair', means iris in Scottish Gaelic. I chose this name cuz my favorite flower is iris, and I went to Isle of Islay in summer 2024, a place I've been dreaming of going back to constantly, the people there use Scottish Gaelic.

The cover of the album "Self-portraits" was a group of pictures I took for my 21st birthday. I bless myself with irises and wish I could be as free and fearless as they are. The purpose of shooting myself is to try to find a way of me connecting with other elements (flowers, costumes...) and try to express personal feelings, emotions and specific themes.

There are also other themes I've been fascinated with shooting. The seas, the sunsets, my cultures, the flowers...and themes yet to be developed. Taking pictures is a way to show my inner feelings about the outside world, and I do like doing it.
